I'm a tower on the craggy shore,
Gleaming white against the sunlight,
Against the wind and the shifting floor;
I stand by day, keep watch at night.
I can only wink but not sleep,
For all eyes at sea are watching me,
As I watch them go on their trip
Into the wide, blue sea. ~
