Morning in the Forest Mural, 5' x 10'

The forest wakes up in gems:
emerald, ruby, topaz,
studded foliage and flowers
make a living palace.

Bathed in pristine sunrise,
in Parthenon-like columns,
stand the trees regal and proud,
bastion of countless life forms.

Everything is so quiet,
save the herald of the day,
chirping, hissing, buzzing,
murmuring stream in prayer.

Crystals of dewdrops glisten,
strung on spider web,
butterflies in horde flutter
as the shroud dissolves like ebb.

How happy the campers are
to greet morning in the forest,
how miss the city dwellers
the day's greatest hour. ~
