Isang Maikling tula para kay DIR. CECILIA ROJAS-ROTOR
Ng BTFMD para sa kanyang ika-65 kaarawan
Noong July 28, 2016

Accounting Services Department Director Cecilia R. Rotor will be missed by the NFA community, for sure. Assistant Administrator Leticia G. Cruz referred to the former director as her and NFA’s “Guardian Angel” who made sure that NFA’s money is protected and managed with prudence. “Our finances are in good hands, with Director Rotor, walang kaba pag andyan sya,” AA Cruz declared. The reason why NFA employees accorded her a well-deserved respect. They will remember her strict, nay, careful analysis of money matters, doing a lot of questioning or interrogation until she is fully convinced of certain budgetary requests or disbursements.

One good thing about Director Rotor was that she not only questions but also recommends better and more legal options in assigning a budget. She sees outright what is wrong in the request and makes proper corrections. She makes sure that she doesn’t miss a thing once she approves and finally signs a document because every document that carries her signature is her legacy which she carefully nurtured and preserved throughout her 43-year service to the agency.

Her family (husband, Abercio Rotor, who is also a former director of  NFA, and children Matthew Marlo, Anna Christina and Leo Carlo must have been so proud of  her achievements as a public servant whose integrity, dedication, commitment and work ethics are worth emulating.

Director Cecil Rotor poses with husband, children and grandchildren on her 65th birthday.

Financial Analyst II Naty Masangcay of the Budget, Treasury and Fund Management Department shares a poem she wrote to pay tribute to Director Rotor’s sterling qualities as a person, as finance manager, as a leader. (cora abio
